The Process

Packages available in St Brides

£15 per month -4Mb speed with 5GB download limit - only available in Lighthouse Park

£19 per month -8Mb speed with 5GB download limit suitable for light users e.g. who want to check emails and do some web browsing

£25 per month -8Mb speed with 25GB download limit suitable for mainstream users e.g. those who browse the web regularly and want to use iPlayer or download some music, etc

£35 per month -8Mb speed with 100GB download limit suitable for heavier users e.g. those who want to download films, do online gaming, etc.

£45 (ex. VAT) per month Business (prioritised traffic). 8Mb speed with 150GB download limit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I keep my email address that was given to me by my old ISP?

The short answer is - it depends on the ISP. However, if you have an account with Yahoo, Tiscali, Googlemail (Gmail), Hotmail or MSN these will continue to work. You can still have these email addresses forwarding to Outlook and mobile phones.

What happens if we go over the download limit one month?

We will monitor everyone's usage but we know that sometimes you may go over the limit. We won't penalise you or charge you extra during the first month as we want you to go and explore the World Wide Web with your new broadband but if you continue to exceed it, we will notify you and suggest that you upgrade to the next package up or we charge an additional £2 per Gb used.

Can I keep using my telephone line from BT but use Spectrum Internet broadband?

Yes! You will continue to use you existing telephone line - at a later date we may be able to offer a telephone service but one step at a time!

You can be on the Internet AND telephone at the same time too if you use the ADSL splitter we have provided that plugs into your telephone socket.

Will the broadband speed be as good in Lighthouse Park as it is in Nellive Park?

Unfortunately no. However, it will be substantially better than it was before. It should be at least 4-8Mb.

How will I pay for the service?

We are currently setting up a direct debit system with the bank and we will send you a form to complete with your bank details. For the first payment, after the service is switched on, we will post an invoice to you which you can pay by cheque…or via online banking!
